As another financial year draws to a close I would like to share some actions and obligations to be considered.
Reconcile all bank accounts, loan accounts and credit cards.
Reconcile your wages in preparation for issuing Payment Summaries.
Check your employees details. Will you be sending Payment Summaries by email? If so, you will need to have written authority to send confidential information by email.
Check your Aged Receivables and Payables.
Write off any bad debts.
